V'ahavta Flashcards are designed to teach both the meaning and the trope melodies for these verses. It is a downloadable file which you can then print on card stock. The cards each show a symbol that represents the concept of one of the phrases: it faces the student. A folded flap has an English translation with the trope marks from the Hebrew to aid the teacher in singing the verses in English as well as in Hebrew. This is a way to acquaint them with the trope melodies before the time that they start focused Bar/Bat Mitzvah studies. I used these regularly in a classroom of 5-9-year-olds.
