Rudi in Stained Glass

Rudi had Alzheimer's disease when this portrait was made. Rudi was a librarian, but at the time of this visit he would tell people the same story over and over about the history of the Sami people. My mother-in-law didn't like this picture of her friend, probably because of how it brings out Rudi's sense of being lost in the world. Rudi's wife, an artist, loves the picture, perhaps for the same reason. Solarized in Photoshop and combined with textured colored rectangles to give it the stained glass look.
