Ruby in Red

Ruby, age 9 at the time of this photograph, was unusually pre-occuped that day. The solarization and pencil stroke treatment in Photoshop accentuates her mood and makes her age much more ambiguous. Ruby's mother thinks it makes her look like her great-grandmother.
